Our problem is a global one.   Like when we discovered nuclear technology we didn’t say this is a horrible thing to push on humanity and let’s disarm.   No we all just decided to build more secretly.  Then in public shamed the opposition.   This country is encroaching on another and they have this or that.  It’s like two siblings fighting.   Their parents let’s call them ethics are nowhere to be found.

The most modern problem is technology.   We are letting social media and advertising zombify the population.   The AI is too intrusive and the advertising agencies are not going to stop this unless we make them.  The real problem like the nuclear one is that opposite sides are weaponizing these systems against one another.   

Instead of letting technology bring us together we have billionaires spending in the trillions to separate us.  These encourage brand wars and partisan politics and use the public domain as a war zone to fight their wars economically.   They knowingly make us depressed and miserable just to sell us the next hit of dopamine.   

The governments are not innocent either opposing sides are sliding their technology to independent firms and letting them push out all the dirty work and gather their troops against one another.  The tech being used is known to be a cognitive weapon.  Or as the buzz word names it “PSY-OPS”.  In the end when it is caught the company dissolves or just rebrands and continues its operations in a new or more advanced way.

The solution is to educate the public in a non-partisan way so that we can all gather and realize this is making us all miserable.   They are blaming each other and have us fighting.  This is the diversion.  While this happens they all move unilaterally with the same technology and methods.   We need to take a stand and begin to protect ourselves against this virus.  The solution is to stop metadata collection practices from being used in applications like targeted advertising and marketing.  We need to take back our data points and force the governments to stop these practices.

The road we are heading down is world war.  The public is aware of that.  We see it on the news.   They give us the path forward but do not give us any reasonable solutions.   The solution is for the people of the entire planet to demand these practices are stopped.
